Ya, hyperte. Go vert and swap the stuff over. That's more j influence of all. We didn't get the turbo verts here. What do you mean by too many stickers here? Do you mean too many stock body fcs here in general?

It will take some time. But I really like the red wide body fc. Im sure I can do it. I'm not a super baller but I'm having my engine built right now and it's costing a lot. I think bigger wheels are a must for looks. 17 for performance 18 for the look. I'm not sure what I want more. I'm gonna hit the track for sure when it's all ready to go.

Neova AD08 are great tires. I think I may go with some s drives though. They seem to get good reviews. More affordable too.

What are the wheels on the red GT-R in the above post? I like those a lot.

They are Fortran E-09 wheels. I haven't seen any fortrans for sale for a few years.

17's are a perfect fit for the FC. Somewhere on this forum someone did some calculation for what the perfect wheel size/offset was for the FC and it ended up being something like 17x8 / 17x9. I brought up the AD08 example because they're one of the more expensive tires around and most people will usually go a different route. However, they're extremely affordable in 16" sizes. I'd do some research before buying track tires. You're going to go through them so fast driving at track speeds, you really want to find out what is the best performance/price combination for you. IIRC S.drives are still pretty expensive tires while there are still cheaper tires that do the same job. (Just because they're Yokohama doesn't mean they're good track tires.)

Sorry for getting side tracked. My point for the previous post is that you don't need to follow a mentality where your car has to look a certain way, for example: "hella-flush." There might be one or two hipsters out there that laugh at the sight of wheel-gap. But the mass majority of car enthusiasts will respect you for keeping your car tasteful and in great running order. Not everyone can afford over-night Japanese parts and they don't need to turn to low-quality knock-offs to compensate for it.

Back to Japanese car influences though, I don't hate cars with kits at all. In fact, I'd love to have my FC look like this, Minus a few details like the weird fins and that rear wide-body.

I've been trying to source that hood forever. I don't think I'll ever find one.

I agree rockyz. I was just considering the s drives because they tested them with the bfg sports I have now and they are a bit better. Total side track. Lol. Back to the pretty machines!

Thanks for the info. I'd buy a set of those in a heartbeat. Speaking of "beat," they remind me of the OEM alloys on the early '90s Honda microcar, the Beat:

http://a-rf.com/

Scroll on the left side to Parts List
then scroll on the right side (big screen) to the FC3S link
then scroll down to the Exterior Parts Link
then scroll appx. 3/4 way down and you'll see it.

You're welcome.

That sure is a lot of guages in the white fc. I need to get started on mine. How to you guys feel about powder cotes on ic piping? does it serve a purpose besides looks? Protects against rust?

Does shine sell those realy smaile side mirrors? Idk what you call them. Not the ones like hypertek. the realy small round ones on the black and red fcs.

Can anyone identify What is going on with the fcs lights? Are they just shining through the ftp or are they cut open like the bn kits? It looks like the ftp section has been expanded upward and then they put some kind of lenses over them. Kinda nice although it reminds me of a camaro. Then again this might be an old after market front in japan all together. What do you guys think?

Judging from the era of the movie, it's probably an old school bumper and lens combo.
