introduce myself

hiya, been signed up on here for a while now, alot of helpful/usefull info obtained off threads on this site.

Anyway, im Duane, from the uk, swapped my old r32 skyline gts for my fc vert tII last november and looked like this:

after getting used to driving and enjoying it, i started fixing little problems that it had and fitting a few new parts to make it my own.

I fitted a Sard top intake stage 3 induction, sard blow off valve, magnecor leads and sard rad cap/ARC oil cap

installed a cockpit kani stage 1 ecu

also installed my dvd headunit (for comfort as its my daily driver for work), carbing gear **** and deep dish style wheel

and an apexi avcr (sorry about the poor quality pics)

I have also fitted a stage 3 clutch as the exedy oem started to slip (which i then discovered the old pressure plate was welded to my flywheel as the flywheel was cracked/damaged) so replaced with a oem flywheel for now until i can afford a lightened one. I also made a bit of a mistake, my exhaust had been blowing since i had the car so took it to a friend who fabricates exhausts, as the old system was a 3" pipe with a backbox i thought i'd just get a like for like, however i decided to go for a 3" straight pipe from cat back and is now rediculously loud, so silencer is on the cards i think. As of now it sits like this, on 18x8.5 + 18x9.5 work emitz (i know your not fans of stretched tyres)

plans are to repair rear arches (rust) or perhaps over fenders, new un-ripped hood and basic maintaining until next year as our winters kicking in now. Full build thread can be found on my club site (www.theorientacademy.co.uk)

thanks for looking!

I'm on mrc but not really posted too much tbf, will get an intro thread on there soon. Cheers guys, the rear wheels were sunk when I first got them so I slapped on some dragon performance 40mm hubcentric spacers and fits quite nice now, I want overfenders so will fill the gap with larger dishes on the rears when my finances allow it

Cheers guys
