I just bought a 90 s5 gxl hardtop a few days ago. The guy said it needed either a new ecu and/or a new crank angle sensor. So I tried those both out in my vert and they worked fine. I tried testing to see if there was power in the ecu plugs when the key was turned and there wasn't any!
So now I'm trying to find out where the bad connection is!
I don't know how to test to see if its a bad wire harness or a bad main relay.
Any ideas on where I should go next in my search for the spark?

 

Why are you posting this in the non-tech section???

You need to find a FSM and start chasing electrical circuits.
If you can't do this by yourself, I'd suggest paying someone else to do it.
