i had struggles buying this car because the owner wanted 1grand firm and i had only $750. i checked it and about two days of negotiating i got it down to $750 but i was still iffy but this gut feeling was always coming around telling me "to just buy it" . i made my mind i would use what ever part i need and sell the rest and make back the money. i go there to pay for it, checked it out and when i seen that front end i knew i had to buy. Damn! im stuck broke now, things men do for cars. but its all worth it lesson learnt: always listen to your gut feeling



it had one headlight lens cover on there but it must of came off while on the tow back to the shop. oh wells ill just have to find replacement ones, if i can find any

That is the ugliest front bumper for the FC, hands down.

 

From looking at pictures and my own, I think all the califonia nose kit coupes all came with 4 point roll cages. Correct me if I'm wrong.

 

I agree but it's a rare part,especially here on Hawaii. It's probably the only one on the island.

Saw a really nice pic of the black vert from the Nostalgic 2 days on Speedhunters but i can't seem to find it, only one i've seen where i really like the bumper...

i actually kind of like it on the vert with blackouts, but the black on white, nope.

but for $750 if it has the full drivetrain, can't beat that with a stick.

doubt racing beat has an lens replacements so you will likely just have to ditch the front end.

 

Oh my god that's hideous...but I want it so bad. It is so esoteric and just perfect for how Lucy is going to look when I'm 'done' with her. Paired with a small lip and a splitter I think it would be fabulous.

 

I'm not a fan of the look, but I think there are worse options that more people like, stuff like the MAD TYTE DORIFTO crowd tend toward. I for one am glad you picked it up simply for the sake of saving such a rare item, I hope you can complete it.

 

i suppose i just picture what could be done with it, note the turn markers are eliminated so LEDs could be used for the markers without trying to modify the bumper to move them and GTP style headlights eliminating the flips or use both.

i agree. the vert being black it doesn't look like it has the lights.
not only that i got two 13b NA motors and some other goodies with the car now i can practice my porting and engine building
ill call racing beat this weekday, hopefully they have or if not ill just try to make them

I noticed that too

 

or racing beat only actually sold 3 kits. to the black vert, the white coupe and this black coupe. so all the white coupes naturally have the bolt in cage.

 

Yeah I'd have to say its not the look I'm going for but super cool nonetheless...never seen one till now.
