The other day on the way home I think a tractor trailer must have plowed a whole family and their pet raccoon because there was blood all OVER the highway and dragged on for like 150 feet. A couple probably got caught under the front axle and got dragged around. Body parts everywhere.
I have not seen that much carnage since previous winter

Well I talked to my insurance agent today, and the car is staying at the tow yard and once everything goes through I can pick it up there. This is much better than the insurance company shipping it over 100 miles away then shipping it back.
I went and pulled the intercooler, gauges, and some other stuff out today, and the intercooler looks like it still will hold boost, it was just dented and had some smashed fins. I'm not sure if I said this before, but the glass sunroof came out of the car while it was rolling, and the exhaust is still almost perfect.

That really sux, looked like it used to be a real clean FC...
Really, they're not going to cover the passenger? I've had pretty good luck with State Farm Paying out. To me that sounds like fraud, you have to check you plan, but I don't see how they could insure you for full coverage and not cover you or passengers for injuries?
Good luck on your search of a clean shell...

Yeah state farm is saying they won't cover the passenger, but they are not sure yet. They are working with me well on keeping my car at the local towing company, rather than shipping it to their yard like they originally wanted to do. Hopefully in another week or two this is all done and taken care of. I get the joy of going to the police department tomorrow to see what I will get for tickets out of all of this. I know I'll at least get a failure to register a vehicle, but not sure what else. The cop sounded pretty determined on giving me a speeding ticket, but we'll see.

NO ONE should cover someone who refused to use the vehicles safety restraint system and is injured in an accident. While your insurance company may not know he was not wearing his seatbelt, you better hope they don't find this thread.

Sorry for your loss man. Hope everything turns out ok with state farm. I hate seeing one less 7 on the road especially a beautiful car like yours. The county I live in has like the highest deer accidents in the state of Michigan Im lucky i haven't smoked one ever.

Yeah she was clean. But hey, if you're going to crash a car, may as well roll it several times and really ruin it right? Makes for a better story than "I curbed it and bent the subframe"
The next one will be even better, the almost always are.
And my friends and I came to the conclusion that deer are afraid of rotayrs. I've gone past them in LOUD piston engine cars, and revved at them. And hardly flinched. Were a fairly normal (still loud, come on its a rotary) rx7 and revved and they run away. This has happend several times. I think it has to do with the vibrations that the rotarys give off, since I do believe that deer don't hear as we do, but rely more on vibrations. Or some ****. We were drunk.

^Wow, they are truly a bunch of crooks out for every cent they can get, no matter how many people they have to bend over and f*ck.
Anyways, I got the car back yesterday, and I've started tearing into it good. The only broken things in the engine bay where: passenger side motor mount, boost piping, radiator, upper rad line, and the water pump housing cracked up top. And I had the motor running before I took the harness off. Hopefully within the next hour the motor is out!
