Angry I hate my Cooling System Rant!

So about two weeks ago my clutch fan died and i replaced it with an electric fan and a temp switch. Ran good for about a week and my radiator started leaking, replaced it with a new unit and over hauled the cooling system (Ie- T-stat, hoses coolant). Then this afternoon I was sitting at the shop getting my car looked over for an event I am running in a few weeks and we crank it up on the dyno to double check my A/F ratios and turn the boost up a bit and y God Damn water pump starts pissing all over the dyno. We cut the session short pull my car up on a lift to look over suspension stuff and notice my P/S rack is also pissing all over the shop floor. Now mind you both of these items were in perfect operation condition 1 week prior. I think my car either hates me or is PMSing. On a side note how ever we are in the middle of fabricating a Big brake kit utilizing either RX-8 rotors of Turbo Supra rotors for the front while we twiddle our thumbs and wait for parts to arrive. I guess it is just that time of the month. / rant.

yeah, FCs are like that aren't they.

At least your cooling system should be pretty robust by the time your finished.

Coolant system is funny like that. As soon as you replace one thing the countdown starts for the next weakest link to fail.

I chased my coolant problems from radiator, to rad hoses, to thermostat, to heater hose, to waterpump.....now the O-rings in the LIM are leaking.....**** that, they can wait.

Brake kit sounds pretty tight, I hear RX-8 brakes are quite effective....and we weigh less

Went from heater hose failure, Radiator Cap Failure, Radiator Failure, Upper Radiator Hose Failure, Thermostat Failure, Themostat Housing Failure, to finally Water Pump Failure. I'm just gonna replace the lower Radiator House so we can skip that failure =].

More than likely use my stock front rotors. We are only switching out the rotors for bigger ones and building brackets to move the caliper out. I still plan on using the Mazda caliper as that thing is a beast.
