No.

I did a color change on m y 1st gen and dyed the carpet. I don't recommend the carpet dye or painting of the carpet as the results are not long lasting and the end results are not very good.

guys thanks for all of the feeback, i wasnt expecting much. I think the carpet and everything will clean up fine on this car. I have already changed the body to s5 stuff and looks like a skittle now, but I think I can live with the color of the interior as grey. I also have an s5 coupe with all black stuff and it looks great so i feel I would go for the same look.

I just dont feel like looking for all black parts for a swap, it would get really costly where I am at.

all you have to do is buy a donor car for like $500 bucks that has a black interior.. ive had alot of success with painting some of the plastic panels on the interior but i would never dye/paint carpet, seats, door panels or the dashboard..any parts that see any type of wear and tear will not hold up so dont waste your time..

I will keep that in mind. I need to get this thing running right. I have a set of back seats I might want to get rid of but do not know how much they are worth. I can then reupholster my old vert seats and do a new carpet with a color change.
