Well it's easy we drive our cars don't we, busted or not! Really tho I own four 7's, I wear rotary shirts, I wear my rotary jacket when it's cold, I have posters/ pics/ & diecast 7's all over the garage & I own a RX7 watch I sometimes wear. That should be enough to show my pride. LOL

All I'm saying is: just because you DON'T spend retarded amounts of money on your car (respectively, of course, depending on financial standing and priorities), that one can't have pride in owning a rotary?

It is snobby to hate on other rotary lovers because they're not as fortunate, are too young to understand how to properly fix a car or don't have the means to; but truly want to.

Yes, it is the truth that some people store their cars and/or never properly fix them to specs that are considered "acceptable" (objectively). However, it is also EXTREMELY ignorant and snobby to hate on them for being as such.

I created this thread to promote rotary pride, regardless of what shape it takes. Not to shut it down and call it invalid .

Please keep the thread constructive, aside from condescending. There are people with similar desire that aren't as fortunate as you have been.

Rotary stays due to alot of different reasons actually. Time is one of those things. I'd like to drift this year.

Fortunate? Son, i BUST MY *** working a full time job only to spend most of that on medical bills. Every dime i put into my rx7 is painstakingly saved..... 40-50 hours a week...... MONTHS of saving and only 2-3 days a week to put in work on my car outside IN THE COLD.

That's how i rep my pride.

Not by wearing a hat or rocking a sticker but by working my *** off and showing some love because the last two owners didn't take pride in the car and broke ****, let stuff rot and fall apart and generally beat the crap out of it....

An ex-friend of mine had an sa22 he was so proud of when he got it but didn't take the time to learn **** about the rotary and stalled it once and it wouldn't crank again. He kicked the windsheild out and used it as an obstacle in his "skatepark" and had all his friends spraypaint dicks on it....

That's what i meant.

Maybe i'm confusing dedication with pride but whatever. Didn't mean to come off as a hater.....

I have yet to find a fem that likes the smell of exhaust, or raw gas.... 1 liked to drift, 1 yelled at me and told me to pull over on the side of the road and let her out, I obliged.

So how do I represent the rx7 culture? By humiliating the Hondas, cobaltSS's, and cavaliers that said fems are now riding around in because it has big subs and smells like 1,000 Black Ice air fresheners.

Talking long story

Ok here so here's my deal. I've been into RX7 engines since 15 bought my 1st 7 when I was 18.
My gf knows more about my 7 then my friends do.

I had no job saved every penny into it and did a lot to it. Lots of "Free" or cheap mods. Just got a job so my 7 is gunna be rollin fresh real soon.

I got a suspened licenece and went to jail for driving my 7. While I was in jail I was assigned to work at the Traffic Division of my city. I asked a guy to make me rotor deacals for my 7 (look at my albums, I would post em up but I'm on a cell fone.) Keep in mind I was an Inmate when this happened.

My gf and my family understands the work, time, effort, and the blood, sweat and gears into my car. My gf bought me a mazda shirt from the local dealship. $15 bucks.. Nothing crazy

Also I like to educate people on my car. ( I just like the funny looks they give me.) Lolol

So yea that how I rep rotor power.

My RX7 has made me into a better person, as I have made my RX7 into a better car.

Another way I represent is by having sex with a girl who owns 4 FCs (3 are parts). The other night I caught her smelling the exhaust of my 87. She looks up and says "I love rotaries".

I was wondering the same thing. I guess it would have to be either the Mark IV or Mark III, since this is the FC forum. Although, he could very well be a first gen owner.

A couple days before we actually hooked up me and my now current gf took our FCs to a vacant loading dock to drift (along with another member and his GSL-SE). We were going around drifting and stuff and I decided to have her come in my FC for a spin as I noticed she was having a hard time initiating a drift. I told her how NA FCs can't power over for crap and explained how she would need to clutch kick or ebrake to get sideways like I was. So I go to do my round with her as a passenger and the first clutch kick I do my front right wheel bearing explodes LOL. I was so embarrassed ... dang spindles from the junkyard.

Anyways, me and my girlfriend rep our pride by showing up to Nor-Cal Rx7club meets in our Geo Metro. Caliswag707 took this pic. I told him not to post the pic on the club... of course what does he do?
