this is right down my alley! I wanna see it. Can you explain what you mean though? Is it a full subaru front end conversion? Or is it a bumper that looks like a subaru?

It's legit. I saw it back in 04' or 05' I don't have pics though. It did look pretty good. The just took the lower half or a Subaru bumper and put it on the FC bumper below the trim to square it off.

Yep, it was a 2.2L impreza front bumper grafted onto the bottom half of an FC. It looked much more agressive than it does on the stock impreza. I'm about to get a paint job on the 'vert and was thinking of getting the 2.5 RS front bumper similarly done. It's even more agressive than the 2.2 front end and with the large fog lights and large opening for the radiator, it would be BAD. I'm sure I will get this done but the body guy wanted to see the original to get an idea of what to do. Anyway you look at it, I'll still get 'er done.

RCFC, that's kind of the style in the extreme dimensions link. The actual model year of the subie front end is a '97 impreza for the original pics I'm looking for and the 2.5 RS of that year ends up looking very much like the extreme bumper. I'm starting to think that the link may never show up so I'll just have to get with the bodyshop and wing it. If I hadn't seen the original post, I'd probably go with the extreme dimensions bumper but at least I'll have a one of a kind look. I'll make sure to post when it's all done. Thanks all for the help.

It was just the lower half, It was cut down the middle and fused together, then attached to the bottom half of the FC bumper.

it kinda adds a funky R32 look to the FC, it's alright, not the worst i've seen by a mile. see US DC Integra front on 95 Camaro, now that's horrible.

Yep, the blue subaru FC combo pictured above but with the bumper cut below the grille and headlights of the subaru and added to the FC bumper right below the FTP's. It just uses the lower air opening, the turn signals and the fog lights but not the subie headlights. The full subaru front end I don't care for. Gonna happen in a month or two. I'll post pics then.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. The hatch looks rounded as does the butt of the car. Looks almost Saab 9-3ish.
