VA Harness bar

I have an 86 FC. im about to get carbeau seats an i jus wanted to know if there was anywhere to get a harness bar.

ebay?? or just mount them to the strut bar if you has one...


or do what i did and mount them to the speaker tower.. if you open up the speaker tower (take speaker off) you will see TWO holes on the side facing the back of the driver seat.. find some bolts that match the threads and bolt them right up.. also add a nut to secure the bolts in.. thats what i did before i got my strut bar mounted

umm wont that hurt your back if you get in a wreck? I don't see a strut bar holding up to well in a accident.

get a cage. its the proper and safest way to do it. i personally dont trust those harness bars.

+ Infinity. If you don't have a cage or a proper roll bar at bare minimum, you shouldn't have any type of harness other than the stock seat belts.

well i didnt mount/tie it to the actual bar but to the bolts that mount to the frame..

and i only use the 4 point harness when i go x cross or when i feel like driving fast lol
i still got my stock seat belts and lap belts

A 4 point harness without a good roll cage in a rollover accident could likely result in a smashed skull.
