Yeah, I got an ebrake boot from redline sometime ago - and yes and overall BIG difference was made. I am going to make another attempt, In a different way, In getting the stock handle Instead. Although I live the momo one I don't want to gamble In the hope that It'll fit.

I ended up taking It dry and buying a new one from Mazda. This bitch retails for a $123can. Sometimes you can't beat stock!

So you did buy a new one from Mazda? I thought your first post said they told you it was discontinued?

I was under the impression that this was not available anymore. Atleast, this Is what they told me prior. Looking further they were able to get It. JerryLH3's posted the part number. I provided It and they found It.

Speaking of parts that are not available, I am reminded with my latest Mazda purchase. I ordered a new black center console (with lid and center plate). At first the part number for this showed they were no longer available. So my guy at Mazda emailed whomever and they generated a new part number that the Mazda I go to did NOT have. Result? I now have one coming In from Japan. Just b'c It shows as unavailable - pursue this further. You never know, as I've learned, what will happen.
