Think I found a door with window motor in it. whoot. now I just need S5 molding. Anyone got some?

Thanks yeah be installing the door today hopefully get all the s5 wiring wired up in it and get it back up on the road today. hope to hear back from the insurance company tomorrow or wed if there gonna pay out. Would be nice to be able to afford to paint the door black and not have it Arctic Blue.

sadly being an S5 you cant just pull the molding on both sides for molding delete. i may have an S5 molding lying around but chances are shiping would cost more then the price of one localy if you can find it.

That really sucks about your door man. I debated a long time about bringing my car up from Texas to the NW. After seeing the drivers from Olympia up to Seattle, decided my car was stayin in Texas for a while longer.

 

don't blame you dude. both my truck and rx have been hit since Dec.

Had a C230 go under my lowered truck's bed and **** up my 4x4 bed. and then this with my door.

On side note still haven't heard back from the insurance company. Gonna be giving them a call today.

Well finally got the news from the insurance co. after finally getting the ball rolling. My FC is totaled. haha oh well they can give me some money and a salvage title. Well heres a pic with the new rims and tires on it and dropped.

 

Totaled because of a damaged door? There's jeeps out there with no doors! Worse luck ever. Keep the pictures of the damage, replacement and this thread. If you ever sell the car you can explain the BS salvage title reason with ease. Looked hella clean before the door swap and it does look like a delorean door now. Black that door out asap!

 

glad to hear the car is back on the road. the insurance caompany prob totaled the car because they felt that it would cost more to fix than the car is valued at.

 

Can't believe they totaled the car over a door. Did you show them you already replaced the door?
