Gutted interiors pics thread!!

Let's see some pics of Gutted FC's!! I love the striped and painted look on cars. Custom dash's, roll cages, welded chassis is a plus LoL...

Looks Good Guys! I'll get some pics up of my 87' TII. I'm keeping the headliner, dash, door panels, and afew misc plastic pieces. Everything else is eventually getting painted. What are you guys using to get your sound deadning/seam sealer removed??

What's the right way to put harnesses in then? Where do you bolt them?

The should be mounted to a horizontal rollbar, usually part of a roll cage (really, harnesses without a cage is pointless and possibly dangerous if you get in a rollover). In a front-end collision, harnesses bolted straight to the floor can cause spinal compression as your body flies forward.

no... the strut bar, usually made out of aluminum, will not hold during an impact.

Nah it was a schroth that was bolted to the rear seat belt holes. the seat was also moved almost always forward. That way it was within the safe angle. I had wrecked with the car to with no issuse.

^ Yep I've heard dry ice and a chisel does the trick. I've never tried it myself though so don't put the blame on me if it doesn't work.
