Has anyone successfully installed a cd/dvd player in there glove box?

My display is busted so i thought i'd just use it as a decoy. I'm also still trying to locate the other 4 speakers in the car. Anyone know what the diameters are?

 

lmao of guess no one has done it in a fc. Hoping to be the first.

 

its pretty easy i did it on my last toyota 4x4 (keeps clean in the GB) , i have my EQ mounted on the glove box face though

 

wow not really what i was thinking but that looks clean. how do you open the glove box with the wires from the equalizer?

 

I dont have any pics of it, but i mounted a tach in my glove box, (stock one doesnt work) all i did for the wires was pop the glove box light out of the back and run them throught that hole and ran the wires behind the dash.

 

I was going to just run the cd player wires to the glovebox and leave the old one in as a decoy or cover it up with a custom plate.

 

I have seen radios put in FC glove boxes before, Can't find any pictures though

 

_._ ah forget it i'll just get a detachable face cus i don't have the time or money to figure it out or make it look "pretty"

 

Just run the wires through the hole where the light is suposed be, whats there to not look pretty, when the glove box is closed you wont see anything

 

oh dang i reread what you said and i understand now. Thank you for the help. going to the junkyard hopefully on monday to find a cd mounting bracket i can cut up and use in the glove box.

oh dang. thanks i'm going to go take measurements.

 

im not 100% sure it will fit but if it doesn't you can make a flat plate out of plastic or carbon fiber and cut out the hole for it to make a front face when you fold down the door.
