Yesssssss....

Roll cage is still in, so are all the suspension swaps. Her regular street shoes and original rims are back on. She's gonna' be my daily. Only change under the hood is a heavier alternator. Otherwise...she's pretty clean. I picked her up about a week ago. He took her out to Summit Point Motorsports in WV this past Friday and ran her around for the day. Came back all melancholy that he'd sold her! I'm trying to get all the interior back in around the rollcage. Don't know if I should leave those pieces out, cut them, or put them back in under the rollcage...she's an '89 GTUs 95,000 mi. Just put the catalytic converter back in the other night.

Thnx...she's a LOT of fun to drive. Literally pulled her out of the garage and she was ready to go. Prev owner would start her up from time-to-time and change the fluids even though she just sat.

$3000. She was a steal.

Very little on the inside had been bastardized. She'd been under a tarp in the woods for many years, but then put in a garage. Hood looks like she has acne scars (acorns over the years). BAD paint match on the driver door that they tried to blend into the front left fender. BUT...she's 23. I call 'em character marks! Turns more than one head!

I have to learn how to driver her. Not necessarily the fastest, but nimble as all hell! I LOVE zooming the exit ramps around new cars! Need new daily tires on it. The street tires on her now had been in the shed since before '04. They're holding pressure, though.

I'm hoping to head out to Summit end of Aug/early September. $250/4 20 min runs on the track. Let the prev owner take the 4 experienced/expert runs, I'll go the 4 novice.

Still have to register with an East Cost club. 1 - let the car be seen 2 - back-pocket a mechanic that wants to/knows how to work on her if need be.
