heres my freshly ported irons for my high comp 13b-re build. let me know what you think. also do you think that is enough of a bevel that the trailing side seal isn't going have any binding issues? thanks zack

Pencil grinder with diff shape of stones, flap wheels, and a carbide cutting tool on a pnuematic grinder

I'd be worried about those scars you put in the surtace of the irons from slipping. They will kill seals quickly if not fixed.

you don't really. next time put some painters tape all the way around the port so if you do happen to slip off, you bugger up the tape and not the iron.

just make sure you don't have any major burrs on them. you might go through side seals a bit quicker, but it should still run fine. I would imagine that eventually they would fill with carbon.

Oh, and you may want to round off the closing edge of the ports on the irons so you don't mash up side seals.
