Both of them say yes.

oh yeah so what were u saying tyler???

Spirit-RE 01-23-09 03:13 PM

FDs are awesome just not the price... i'll stick with my fc

sunburn 01-23-09 03:38 PM

They are both dope when done right -but because of the HUGE aftermarket alot of people fuck up a nice car... FC or FD.

Fc3s>FSA22C>Fc3c>Fd3s>rx8 i like cars with sharp lines, Fc FTW. I like my girls with curves, not my cars!

kevyn_rx7 03-29-10 08:20 PM

i love FC's. I love FD's. i have an FC right now. i will have an FD someday.

MOBEONER 03-29-10 08:24 PM

I have always been an FC guy and have owed about 10 over the years, ever since i made the switch to FD "sad to say" I will probably never look back.

Boosted11 03-29-10 08:28 PM

I chose the fc so that I could have a fully modified car to the price of an fd. Now i'm so over the top, I could afford a modified fd.

NoPistons! 03-29-10 08:31 PM

Personally, i love the fd moreso than the fc.

Bruce's car is pure sex, the satin black fd on green te's is just balls, mad mikes 4 rotor drift car with digital camo.....

I just love fd's. I want one but it would have to be a rolling shell project. :D I hate stock. Maybe when the fc is done and i have a solid boinger daily driver...... I think it would be cool to have a car with irs multi-link. I've dropped my fc's subframe so many times..... I hate it. GRRRRR.

Fd=sexy awesome production racecar. My jaw gapes open at them when i do see them on the road. Stock or not. "I hear rotary! Where is it!? OH SHIT IT'S AN FD! HOLY SHIT! Catch up so i can get a better look!" My friends look at me like i'm high or something.

nizzan1984 03-29-10 09:00 PM

I can truthfully say I like the FC better than the FD. Sure the FD would blow an FC's doors off stock for stock, but every time I open the garage door to take the FC for a spin I get the same excitement as the first day I drove it. I sold my first vert to get an fg2 civic, but soon bought another. The civic is much quicker, but it just isn't half as fun.

And im not sure if im the only one, but I get an insane amount of looks when driving the vert. People seem to think it looks more expensive than it really is.

ROTARYLiFE7 03-30-10 06:16 AM

i would choose my fc over any car any day. noting can compare with that old skool look, something about that body lines just clicks.

s2kguy17 03-30-10 01:55 PM

I love my fc because i can modify it to same amount of a fd cost, i know thats been said but once i reach were i can sell it and buy an fd..i will def do it..

Nick_d_TII 03-30-10 02:29 PM

FD's are awesome, but expensive, and I think they had more problems from the factory (Sequental twins, Heat that comes with them, Water pumps, wimpy oil cooler(s) if it had one, tranny is not as strong as FC Turbo II Tranny?, Cramped engine bay) They do have a potent chassis and REW engine though. 90's sports car styling

FC's are Kick Ass because they're pretty cheap, and parts can be pretty easy to come by and they are lighter than FD's from the factory I think... came with a motor that has almost as much potential as the REW. 87-88 TII Low Comp rotors are the strongest. 80's sports car styling. TII's are just as rare as FD's or seem to be around here...

FB's are tiny, 12A is wimpy, most are in pretty bad shape or don't run(can be said about FC's and FD's) 70's sports car stlying

2nd GEN FTW!

digitalsolo 03-30-10 03:19 PM

I like my FC for what it is; had I started this project a couple years later than I did, I'd have an FD though. I have too much money invested in the FC platform to just switch now.

As far as objectively; the FC is a "nice" looking car stock. With some subtle mods, it's very nice looking. The FD, bone stock, is dramatically better looking than a stock FC, period. Now, a modded FC can get close, but drop and '99 spec an FD, and it's over for the FC.

Throw a bunch of body kits at either and they both look equally shitty however. ;)

so true !

Battle Cat 03-31-10 12:04 AM

i love both equally....

the fc has old school 80's feel to it..

where the fd has a more modern look...

both look great when done right..

and both look just as shitty if not taken care of.

Spectrum24x 03-31-10 12:11 AM

when i was in high school, a friend of mine had an fd and an fc, another friend of mine had an fd, i always said i would never get an rx7 because of all the headache, but if i ever did, it would be a 2nd gen as im more of an old school kinda guy... i play those days over and over in my head everytime my friend parks his fd next to my fc =D

i'd still like to have an fd one day

PvillKnight7 03-31-10 12:22 AM

Any FC owner who hates the FB hasn't driven it. And the body style screams 'I WAS MADE IN THE 80s!" I can't believe hot green wasn't a factory color.

FC>8

See what I did there?

But still. 8's can look good. But to be comparable to a 7, no way.

13bpower 11-04-10 09:02 PM

FC>FD>FE>FB/SA

It's a pretty easy decision.

smokie 11-04-10 09:23 PM

i like both...im good at working on fc cause thats what i started with...and i love the fc...i have owned 5 and i probably could have owned an fd but i just love the fc's so much that i passed one up...but i think my next project will be an fd

Rye_Takahasi 11-04-10 09:47 PM

honestly.. stock for stock.. I like the look of the FC over the FD. I'm not a fan of the FD stock body. however.. I think a widebody FD done right is just downright sexy. but same with FC. but i just love the look of the FC. even just parked.. they look awesome.

Big88chevy 11-04-10 10:01 PM

I luv my Fc and i think its sickkk. BUT, its no contest i would give my car up for an FD anyday, even if it were stock.
