Not sure... That's exactly what my uncle always says though.

Initially it was probably a worry of stealing sales like Hypertek said. By now... Probably an issue of not alienating their regular customers [if they only offered rotary].

I could see it though: Just make a lightened coupe version of it with a rotary and keep the convertibles 4cyl? No need to make it bigger and fancier like the rumors keep saying :P
