Now you might say I have more money in it than it is worth but I am not planning on selling and it is not my DD. It is well worth it to me to have a fun reliable and somewhat fast car to drive. After spending so many years with the NA engine, I wish I had not waited so long to do the swap.
I now (this week haha) want to do a mid to large street port, new turbo (Stock one would work but I want a newer one) I have been wanting to use a MONZA exhaust, friend of mine had one on his old TII and I just remember it sounding so nice or maybe its sounded like crap but I am just glorify it from all them years a go. As for wheels and tires I kind of fell in love with the R32 skyline rims haha so my cheap tastes I will be saving a little bit off of what you did. But think I should save up $7000 to start with... might be a good idea.
R32 Rims... don't know what it is about them but I like it

Yeah 7000 would be a good number to start depending on how fast you want to go. Kevin Landers at Rotary Resurrection did the engine work and I highly recommend him. He is a no nonsense kind of guy who does great work.
My next mod will be a standalone, maybe apexi and bigger injectors in the secondaries. I am easily hitting fuel cut with my current setup.
I do like the r32 rims and anywhere you can save money on that end I am all for. I don't know much about the sound of a monza exhaust but my greddy is LOUD. It can get a little annoying on longer trips. I have the apexi active silencers just haven't installed them yet.

if your good with 7's and know some people that can get you a TII you can definitely do a swap... time is an issue also. If i had the time and money to do a TII swap in my car, i would do it in a heart beat. You dont see much turbo'ed verts out there. I say save a little more, it will be worth it. You can get some decent wheels at the same time...
anybody know what ever happen to Juiceh's vert?? did he ever finish that monster? i havent checked the forum in awhile.

I don't want a loud exhaust because is the DD and I take longer trips so ya I don't want to drive myself crazy, The monza exhaust I am betting will not be the best for HP but it sits at a good sound level.
Dont worry I will take all 3 oops to much poison

Its funny you say you don't see alot of turbo verts (not that I have...) But people keep asking why I took the hood off and put a N/A in it haha "you hurting that much for cash you could not keep it turboed? Gas is not that bad." haha But then i bet they also think its a 944... and when I tell them they never came here turboed they say they have "seen 3 or 4 of turbo verts running around" WTF when where? THERE ARE NONE!!! But what ever haha

My bet, those were simply Verts with Turbo hoods on them. You see that alot, and it always confuses me as the stock Vert hood is lighter as well as the hood scoop increasing underhood air pressure leading to impediment to cooling air flow.
Just another example of some peoples form over function thinking vs. function and then form.

Go to Vegas and see if I could double my money.
Otherwise, the suggestions here are top-notch.
Here's some of what I've done so far:
$700 Rims
$865 Tires
$546 KYB AGX Struts (rears are adjustable from under the car instead of the shock tower)
$364 Eibach Turbo Springs (I kinda wish I'd done Racing Beat Vert Springs)
$500 JDM Fogs, JDM FTPs, JDM Strut Bar, Teardrop Mirrors
$500 (at least) New PD, Horn CPU, TPS, Die Hard, Headlights, LED Clear Side Markers, Hoses, Fluids, and Touch-up paint.
That's $3475 right there and I've another $1000+ sunk into a AT/MT swap.
If I were just starting over, I'd do most everything again. Only difference would be I'd wait on the JDM stuff until the Trans was switched.
Like somebody up there said, decide if you want "show" or "go" and then take it from there.
Aloha,

After doing a full detail of the car and replacing all of the missing pieces, switches and lights,
I would highly suggest that, if at all possible, you find a local RX group and see/experience what others have done to their verts. If you don't like the shift points of the stock transmission, you may not like a ported engine and the loss of low end torque. Or you may love the noise and higher performance at revs. See what kind of ride you prefer. Harsh, stiffer, stock? Low profile tires with higher cornering vs. higher profile touring smoothness? Oversteer or understeer characteristics? Everything is a tradeoff. The TII turbo adds a lot to the drive-ability of the vert, but it comes at a cost of heat and reliability. (With proper upkeep, that is mostly avoided.) The maxim is: the faster you want to go, the more it will cost.
Nothing beats hands-on, or at least passenger-side experience of different setups and accessories.
Personally, being an o-l-d fart, I just enjoy driving my stock N/A vert with the top down and the occasional slide through a corner. Before I put my toy up for the winter.
