Looking good bro, that t70 will pull reall good. I suggest you run 2.75 intercooler piping bro. I have 3.00 and i get a bit of lag. If i ever redo my piping I will go with that and when you do the exhaust try to go as big as you can with the downpipe.
My hotside is 1.00 and I am running a 3.00 dp and its small. Its restricting the flow a bit. If i do a 4.00 dp I will get more power as what we noticed on the dyno last month.
Things you can do while the engine is out,
scrub the bay with degreaser
sand with 320grit sand paper
optional- spot weld/ weld misc firewall holes/ re route the harness so you wont see it
When painting the bay its up to you, you can either spray it with a one stage paint or two stage.
one stage- paint and clear is already mixed and goes down together - this is good if you know there will be a lot constant work going on in the engine bay where , scratches and nicks will occur. Simply you just touch it up and go on with your bizz.
two stage- base coat then clear coat - will give you that outstanding shine just like the outside of your car but keep in mind off all the work thats gonna be going on the engine bay if you scratch or nick your paint it will be a little harder than to just spray it as one stage.
I will help you when I officially move back here I been pretty busy lately , and dont forget to call me before buying the paint. Alex

you dont NEED the windshield wiper motor i pulled all my windshield wiper crap off, and used that space for my mini battery i never drove it in the rain anyways, and if i got caught in it, i had rain-x in the car just in case
i looked at the thread about the fd... the car looked good, but 90% of that cars suspension parts were spray painted... so they will look good when first done, but BLAH after a few thousand miles of driving.... please please please dont do that

Happy New Years Gang!!
Like the new SN huh!!? I got alot of posting to do LOL people seem to look down on those with low post counts
sadly, i did not live up to removing the engine or having the clean engine bay by the end of last year (yesterday ), but i figured by simply stating "it's time to shine in 09!!", that i can have the job done this year too...
sitting here, shaking them 2008 bugs off me... i'm reeeaaaally excited about working on the FC. i intend on snagging pictures (hopefully with a better camera!) as i go along with the job in hopes to inspire those who lost faith in their FC's... i'm also glad i can join the few who successfully made their own build up threads that helped people knock themselves out hehe i hope in the same way, this thread will do the same
LOL.... and thanks for the experienced advice people!! ALWAYS WELCOME!!

hey gang!!
I know a lot of you might be disappointed, but I've decided to part out the FC and sell it. I intend on using the money to help start a business, in hopes that I can generate the funds to do the "unthinkable" on a FC. I will keep some parts that I just cannot part with as assurance that I will return one day in a decked out FC. For the record, I'm going to need to drop around 30 grand like it's HOT!! to have the FC like how I want it...
you will be missed

I won't sell it as a whole because I'd have a difficult time trying to re-acquire the parts I just can't live without (black interior, aero pieces, wheels, etc.)
and besides... low ballers are part of a 2nd gen RX7 owner's life ya heardd!!
sure
in it's prime, this rolla had ITB's and sexy 16x8.5 dori dori's...
other buddy's
sadly, both were sold due to excessive ref tickets

PLEASE wish me well guys!!
My FD was totalled today at the expense of bad tires/driving. The accident was so bad, that I refused to take any pictures of the hurt 7...
it's just ridiculous how i got myself into this situation... my FC is waiting for someone to pick it up, and my FD is totalled... i am now left car-less with a whole lotta parts.
I love RX7's, have two of them, and soon enough, they'll both be gone. I love them too much to leave the game, but I'm afraid I might have to to get back on track.
One of the craziest days of my life thus far.... seems like a new chapter is beginning. I hope in the near future I could be cruising in a nice 7 again. Wish me luck fellas!

well rested,buffet o food
I am sorry to hear all of that, man. Good luck in the future and keep your focus on forward movement. This blue fc was one of (if not "the") most styled 7 on the forums. You built a hell of a car.
Get your buisiness going and come back 10x stronger.

thanks! and thanks for everyone's kind words.... EXCEPT YOU JAIME!! i'm kidding yo! got nothing but love dude!!
definitely hurting by the loss (i ain't got no ride!).... i freakn washed the car and "fung schwayed" the garage to make home better for the FD the night before the accident too at my brother's wedding over the weekend, everyone who didn't know about the accident was asking where my FD was...... i felt like the biggest jabroni!! LOL
although it is a set back for me, i learned a whole lot from the loss... something that only my first (and hopefully last) accident can teach me. like... i just wanna make a video montage with that kanye west - stronger song! hahaha i'm messin' but really tho, i'm definitely thankful i came out of the accident okay and that i still got mad love for RX7's
you guys know.... i'll be back!!
