I guess the open diff didn't like 4k drops on drag radials? Good thing I have a TII rear ready to go in.

You are close, I have an LT1/T56 (I know, sorry). The only mods are an intake, exhaust, and an electric water pump. I'm expecting to drop a bit more time once the TII rear is in.

I don't think I actually lifted the tires at all, but for a full weight car on stock suspension I'm pretty impressed with how it transfers the weight to the back.

If you think it looks like a sleeper you should hear how it sounds, I tried to make it very quiet at idle. It doesn't really sound like a rotary, but it also doesn't sound like a loud V8.

 

man you don't have to be sorry, its not like you are bragging or degrading the make, cause it's actually running nice numbers specially with an open diff and I bet the car is easy to drive. Great job!!!

BTW you should video tape your launches.
