Second, when I first read your statement, I knew you were a little insane. And assuming that you're insane, you'll say insane things. But trying to talk an insane person out of saying insane things is, in itself, insane. So that's why I'm going to burst your bubble - I'm a little crazy.

Don't even begin to feed us the bullshit and general misconception that having anything short of a stock TII makes it difficult to do something as simple and adolescent like a dounut. N/A's are perfectly capable little motors. Also, the lack of an LSD is by itself a stupid argument to make; most of the clutch type, and definitely all of the viscous units are worn out by now, which reduces them to a fancy-sounding open diff.

Having owned five N/A cars, all with clutch-type LSDs of varying mileage, I can say for certain that a dounut is hands-down NOT a problem with the power we're given.
Having driven a base model with far, far, farrrr over 200k on the original motor sporting low-compression AND an open diff? Dounuts are completely easy.

If you're having problems, the problem is you. Operator error, I think they call it.

So don't sit here and play a lie as the truth to a bunch of people who probably know better than you like a little bench-racer fan-boi without first knowing the facts and having some experience.
Calm down I never said it was hard for me, I said it was hard for him which it obviously is if all he is can do is understeer. But the point I was trying to make is it's harder then other cars and if you still think thats insane then you are insane.

Over contrasting an image does not make it good.

How is it harder than other cars? This is what I don't get... everyone seems to think that the FC is some strange machine that is totally unlike any other vehicle out there. When it comes down to it, it's just a RWD car. It's not any more difficult in the FC than it would be in a Miata, Camaro, Crown Victoria, 929, IS, SC300, Cressida, Supra, or even a flippin' MGB.

Oh! I'm sorry! Apparently I failed to see your incorrect point! For the last 'effing time, it is not 'hard' to keep the 'wheels spinning' in an N/A... you're so completely ignorant for even suggesting it.

To the OP, nice shots!

Some cars are harder than others to do a clean donut/drift or whatever, but as long as you are having fun no matter what you are doing then go for it!

Here is me doing a little 180 in my boss's miata when he was out of town. I assure you an N/A FC with no LSD cannot do this. I know this for a fact after owning 5 FCs with various setups.

Awww, I miss my R-package. <3

You cannot assure someone who has done it that you cannot do it. Trust.

Now, to the original poster... I love the color of the car, but hate the wheels. But I'm positive you don't really like them either... Go for the A-package five-spokes. Those are decent...or...if you want stock wheels, but a great look... 'Vert wheels.

Here is my car to show you just how awesome they look. :-P

dude i ******* hate those wheels with a passion. they haunt me every day when i get in the car lol and ive been shopping around for rims but havent put to much effort cause i just got new tires. and thanks dude your car looks pretty cool but i think your a little crazy but not as crazy as me..... i dont wear helmetts but i understand to some people its safety first

thanks for your post

the only problem with that color is that its not original so the inside of the doors and things are the darker blue but soon it will be all be resprayed that shade of blue inside and out..i guess u can call it a mini frame off restoration

I don't mean to offend you in any way, but if you can't do donuts in a stock 7 you need to freaking learn how to drive.

That wasn't an autocross, it was a car meet that happened to have a parking lot and permission from the owner to set up a little cone course. Lot was a bit small, but it was still fun. Autocross season is starting back up here in bum-**** Georgia, so... more fun is to be had. I HATE the off season.

STFU wanna be drifters and people who think donuts must involve countersteering and throttle movement... BS.

Burning tires and spinning in circles and having fun = donuts/cookies
