ha yea thats an old one..the 7 does by like 7 cars the final pass..the civic got shitted on and im not just saying that because im a seven lover..it was pretty good and i acted like a little kid chritmas morning when i saw a rx7 on there..usually all domestic cars..

The civic got stomped on after the first race. Oh and the civic didn't even have NOS. The bottle was fake. Funny how a street legal 1.3 liter rotary running only ten psi of boost with a haltec ecu can just beat a full drag car with 1.6 liters 25+ psi of boost and many more other mods ect. And this is why I bought RX-7's.

that was an awesome episode. i agree on the "kid on Christmas morning" feeling. it was tons of fun to watch.
and i like how he said "its running warm" and i thought to myself "yeah, its a rotary, ive been there"

Am I the only one that thinks they could do better behind the wheel in that FC lol. I would have kept up w/ the civic in the first run I think. I have driven rwd cars w/ much less power and started better then that.

I remember when I thought I saw an FB in the background of the last bit of Pulp Fiction. My roommates always thought I was crazy, but dangit, I know I saw one.

There's a red FD in Last Action Hero when they go into the Blockbuster Video store. There is a grey FC, and a grey FB in different traffic shots from Italian Job. I've spotted some other Rx's in other movies, but those are the only two that I can remember.

no it isn't. The Eccentric shaft rotates at 1/3 the speed of the piston engine so 1 piston power stroke = 1/3 of the rotary.
The whole 1.3L is REALLY 2.6L is just some BS the piston ppl come up with to make themselves feel better.
The biggest BS comes from the sanctioning bodies who limit the weight of the race car based on some retarded-*** equation so the rotary doesn't smoke the boingers.
call me simple minded but i can't make sense of it^^

A. Four-stroke cycle and two-stroke cycle, naturally aspirated, internal
combustion engines will be classified on the basis of actual
piston displacement.
B. Rotary Engines (Wankel): These units will be classified on the
basis of a piston displacement equivalent to twice the volume
determined by the difference between the maximum and minimum
capacity of the working chamber, times the number of rotors.

For weight designations in E Modified, Mazda rotary engines
are compared to the piston engines listed (i.e., 3.2L OHC vs.
4.5L OHV)--13B rotary engines should be equated to the 3.2L
OHC engines. 13B forced-induction rotary engines (1308cc x
2 x 1.4 = 3662cc), and all 3-rotor engines, shall be grouped
with vehicles required to meet the stated 1800# minimum
weight.

The only this that really pisses me off- you gotta understand that where i hang out at around raleigh, nc is nothing but hondas everywhere! and so what really pisses me off is the fact that any freakin motor from any honda can fit any freakin model!
takes a 180 bucks to pull a gsr motor from the local junker and voila you have a monster in your hatch!
we sorta cant do that- but are cars look way sexier!!!
