wouldnt having one exhaust create a big difference in airflow control from one side to the other...
Therefor making one side less efficient than the other?

I think the best way the RE diffuser would work is by having an exhaust that exits out from the side to allow the diffuser to work evenly.

that to me is just a preference.
I rock a single.

And I'd like to see it diffused. It would contrast well with the S4 trim

correct me if im wrong, but isn't the front diffuser a fairly easy/uncomplicated design? hence i with some experience within the wonderous world of fibreglass should be able to make one myself

I don't know, I don't think diffusers look right on stock body cars (IMO, of course). Unless it's a crazy track beast or something. IDK though, it could turn out awesome.

I've been getting that a lot. I really didnt know a price to list them at; I went off what someone told me they sold a set for, and halved it. I'll be dropping the price soon

The exhausts aren't interrupting airflow, only the center section might possibly be doing some good. Without a flat underbody, its probably negligible anyway because the airflow is too shitty entering it, especially since most of the cars pictured aren't low enough to seal it.

Now front diffusers, like the one at the top of the page, those can be useful.

I can tape a brick to the nose of a F1 car and tell people that the brick is making it faster. Without any numbers to back it up, how can you prove me wrong?

Does a diffuser actually serve a purpose, or is it just for looks (i'm fairly new to this stuff, I just jumped over from the hemi and piston world, the big, v8 world of pistons)

I think the diffuser looks good on a stock body car as long is has a lip,but that's just me.
I plan on installing one on mine, shine lip as well. In the future of course.

So people know what their "JDM" parts do...

http://www.modified.com/tech/0610scc..._2/index2.html

I am one of those guys that loves the look of a track car but also like streetable cars so... I opt for the best of both worlds.... doesent mean I wont use any of it, cause I will soon, but I like the look of all these "Aero" parts. I'm sure cruising in the street the wings, and diffusers, etc have no purpose but looks, but the Aero pieces will sure serve their purpose if you decide to take your car out for a "faster than legal" spin or a trip to a track...of course there are companies who made hideous knock offs and just plain ugly kits to someone's likings but that's a whole other thread LOL

Dsport is a good technical magazine too, IMO more so than SPC. They will list every spec on whatever car they feature from exducer diameter to compression ratio. Usually comes with a nice DVD with some track event footage too.

Ooh yes, I like them too. I really should subscribe to them, now that SCC is gone (I remember they had an FC project car once ). Since we're already talking about magazines (), I think I'm going to let my Super Street subscription lapse, it's a mere shadow of it's former self these days. I really miss the way it used to be when I first subscribed in '04 or so .

anyway,
