Wow thats amazing looks just like my limited edition vert but i got the red version but he says 1000 were made i thot mazda only made 500 owell oh mine has a v6 in it tho lol

Are you serious about the 4 cylinder engine??? I thought the "R" in Rx meant rotary. And if its true in the first gens, wouldn't it also be true for the Rx3 and Rx4?

... Cause I feel like ur BS'ing us, cause I've never heard that before.

I told the guy he was mis-informed and was nice enough to let him in on the engine type and how many were roughly made in 1988.

He replied very polite like and said the Mazda dealership told him about the rarity and the "1000" number.

No there was never a 4 cylinder option. The RX3-4 came way before the first gen RX7.

Well I know that the RX-2 did come with a I4 but was called the 616 if it had the I4.
Other RX- cars was the
Rx-3/mizer/808 =small body changing but same car really
Rx-4/1800
Rx-9/929

So yea hope that helps all I COULD BE wrong but I checked on wiki so yea .
