TX A couple of q's

1. Does a 13bt transmission fit on a 20bt(t) engine?

2. What's a good mod website?

3. Where can I get a good deal on s5 tail lights?

4. What are the differences on the s4 and s5 body?

Look at all the advertisements on the top of the page, mazdatrix, mazmart, racing beat.

eBay for S5 tailights, they always have em, and for like $150.

S4 and S5 have alot of differences; rear view mirrors, molding, front bumper, rear bumper, etc. Look at the pic for the differences

Damn s5 looks a lot nicer. Too many parts for a conversion. e.e

Do you know where to get the bomex mirrors for a reasonable price?

Thank you!

You can always start to convert, get the bumbers, then the mirrors, then tailights and moldings, you don't have to do it all at once, check out the scrap yards too.

Don't know exactly where to get the mirrors, I'd have to search just like you. Google rotary performance, it should show all the good sites, thats what I'd do!

WTF? I couldn't find them. I'd use the settings on the stereo to find them but the display is broken.

there is a FAQ at the top of the page, and i do know that most of those questions have been answered... so searching for them should be a piece of cake...

and yes... the 13b tranny will bolt up to the 20b... if you do plan on doing a 20b swap, you better have a money tree or start robbing banks cause its not gonna be cheap... the engine alone usually cant be found for under $4k

this is a great guide for the swap:

lol thankfully there are two really good rotary places in san antonio that have the 20b for 2,700. I tried using Faq but it never gives me results so it's easier to put my questions here.

I hope you have at least 15k burning a hole in your pocket for a 20b swap.

wow that's intense. I'll just stick to upgrading the 13bt though there aren't as many parts available.

What do you need? You are not going to be able to mix match parts.

I'm working on tracking down a good turbo set up with a front mount. I want to get the s5 tails but they aren't cheap or new and I need to find the license plate trim but don't know if the trim from the convertible will work. Also I want to lower the car but don't know what to do because the wheels are so big.

You are gonna need a standalone to control the larger injectors needed for a larger turbo. You can only use s5 vert tails and license plate frame unless you don't want the rear key anymore.

This thread makes my head hurt. You need to read up more. Just asking every random question that you get won't always get you an answer. Read the archives, read the FSM and then read most of the threads posted every day, you'll learn what you need to know without having everything spoon fed to you.
