Lmao that picture answers it perfectly. I would imagine the dash would fit like total crap I have a rx8 and that dash is huge compared to the fc one.

Someone did FD interior to a vert, they did some work to make it fit, but it looked really good.

 

truth. i am a recovering dubber. we would put tt interior on everything. one day ill be free of it.

 

It's actually almost bolt in. The only part you have to do really custom is trim your door panels a little. Other than that, every other part is straight bolt in. Wiring will be another issue, though. They also sell rubber gaskets that Toyota puts on OEM kits for any gaps between the dash and windshield.

the rx8 was/is such a fail to the history of rotary i don't know why you would want to be reminded every time you get in your car.

 

This from the "how do I get sleepy" kid? Swapping dashes is a task above most people's ability, but it doesn't make the RX-8 a horrible car. You really do come off as a kiddie.

Nothing wrong with having a rotary you can take the family for a cruise in. I have driven a few RX8's, I felt that the car held it's own. BTW I don't own a RX8, but I bet my ***** family sedan could out preform your FC!

I figured a dash swap would be a huge job with lots of custom fabrication, but from what you guys are saying, it sounds like I overestimated it.
