Corksport S4 Lip - Installed and Pictures Taken!
Recently I picked up a Corksport S4 Lip for my '86. Like many others with S4's the stock little rubber lip had long since been destroyed and I've been looking for a replacement. With so many S5 specific lips, it was nice to see Corksport come out with one for us S4 owners! I've considered lashing up an S14 or 626 lip, but they rarely looked right. Anyway, this week it arrived and I was able to paint it up and install it. Many thanks to eriksseven for his advice and experience!
Anyway, on to the pics!
As you can see, it's not so low you're going to scrape it on speed bumps unless the car is really slammed.
Installation was easy, but I did have a bit of fitment issues. As you can see in the pic, the passanger side didn't quite reach the wheel arch because the curve of the lip was a bit different than the right side of the bumper / fender. Now, this could very well be because that fender is aftermarket or that the bumper is the original one made in '85..... either way, it wasn't a big deal. Now, lets just hope that it doesn't come off on the highway! lol
Overall it's a nice piece that's subtle yet still agressive - I'd recommend it to anyone who'se got an S4.

I'm a big fan of the quality and work Rob has put into that project, but I don't like the cutout in the middle - makes it look a bit too much like an S5 lip. Having an N/A I also wanted something a bit less aggressive and a bit more subtle. Rob's is a nice piece though!
It's Fiberglass. From Corksport's website: "This lip spoiler is made from hand-laid FRP, comes in a white Gel-coat finish, and is pre-drilled for easy installation."

putting a slit will allow it to slide over, trust me on that one.
You have the same issue my lip originally had which is why mine was split at one time.
The slit will allow you to push the lip in towards the car a little bit, I did not mean the gap between the top of the lip and the fender, I mean to correct that your lip is pushed away from the car.

specs on your wheels please! Maybe another picture! But yeah that looks a lot better on a 7 rather than what they provide on their website the last time I looked. Lookin' good. Thinking on this for my TII!
