the come up

hey guy, just wanted to show my latest project. 90 s5 gtu. i bought the car back in jan. back in april i swaped the n/a out still running with about 150k on it and swaped it into my brothers gtu. bought a s5TII motor with 60k on it. put it in and she fired right up. broke it in by driving it to school only for about a month. i put her away the 1st week of may but kept it in running shap from start ups and letting it run once a week. as of now im trying to keep the miles low on it and build another drift FC because now all you see is 240's, come on guys we need to show rotarys are legend!

(please dont let the picture dates fool you, my camra's settings are off)reason of saying this is because some people like to be smart a**es if you know what i mean.

Do you have another closer picture of the engine bay? I don't quite understand the intercooler pipe going to a front mount but you still have the top mount?

They lie. It is indeed all S5 except the front bumper and the front moldings.

yes, it was hit in the frount when the previous owner had it. the s5 bumper was replaced to the s4 along with the s4 moldings in the frount of the fender. iv only drove the car to brake it in but not far or pushing it that it would hert the motor with out a TII hood. iv only drove it for a month affter the swap, made sure she runs fine and put it away to keep low miles. P.S with out the TII hood the car scars the crap out of me that i leave the hood open to turn it on intill it harms up and open the hood when im done driving it to let it cool down..besides that the car never heats or showed any sign of heating and stays cool when driving.

Opening the hood before or after driving isn't going to change a thing. It's not coolant or oil temps that will suffer from not having a TII hood, it's air temps. Extremely high air temps increase your chances of detonation.

I was going to say the F stands for fruity...

But, otherwise, it's a nice car. A single color would do it better though, you can kind of tell the bumper's from a different car

Clean swap. You should be fine driving without a T2 hood as long as you don't push the car.

Not from the looks of those pics it isn't. It's been hit, has small paint peel on right rear and door handle. I'm sure it looks even rougher in person. Mint is pretty much factory condition but drivin.
