On a side note, getting hit from the rear probably wouldn't go to well with some Boso's boso exhaust.

To each his own.. personally it would seem like a big metal pipe protruding out of your bumper in such a way seems like a bad idea.

Looks pretty mean^ I didn't know that car was yours.

Never-mind exhausts, I want to build a full fledged zokusha rx3 or ke70 corolla. I love the more mild versions of bosozoku cars. No insane body pieces, 10ft pipes, and loud paint. Just slammed, wide deep dish wheels/stretched tires, fender flares, and oil cooler on the outside of the front bumper lol.

This explains the different types of zokusha:

If it's not function, than there's no form. I look at slammed hella flush stretched tire cars, and I see ugly, nasty, gross, etc. etc.. I see no beauty.

I guess being able to drive in water is the advantage to this style of exhaust...?

no in that case a down turned exhaust would be better so that water cant become traped in the bozo pipes

I think shotgun exhausts like those made by Japspeed are somewhat similar looking, but actually look good.

I can see beauty in a beefy set of wheels but it would always be better if they ran real rubber and widebodies. The one's that **** me off are the crazy camber folks, and the guys who do it to cars that were meant to be fast. Do it to your VW for kicks, ok that's fine. Do it to an EVO or and STI and you're wasting the car's potential.

Kudos to the analogy above on wearing the banana suit to the party. That really nails it on the bozo exhaust.

Personally I see Bozo style in the same light as Stance Nation style.... trying to make a performance vehicle into a fashion statement.

Homosexuals first stole the rainbow, and now they are slowly stealing performance cars.

Stole the rainbow? I wasnt aware that it belonged to anyone but little girls before that?
Anyways this style exhaust has become just like the "hood" kids wearing there pants below there crack, most people don't know what it originally meant.

Man, I LOVE Mx32 Cressy's!!

OP, tuck it up to the bumper (til its about 1/4" from it), add more vertical & trim it down a tad & it'd look a-lot better, IMO...

Uploaded with ImageShack.us mad mike had to rock it boso style this weekend. its all he could do to meet the 95db limit at pukekohe race track for round 2 of the D1NZ. Rediculous. Unfortunately he destroyed his diff doing skids for the crowd before top 16 so didnt finish. Gutted, last time i went he was having igniter or ecu issues and couldnt run either.

..flaming taken lightly
and yes i will be running my fat wheels and maxed camber on the fronts with alot of stretch to tuck under my gaurds (stance nation stickers coming)

each to their own imo, i like the boso style but would never run it on my car
