Can anyone confirm if this is a factory/special edition color scheme? I have been sitting on this car for years. Finally thinking I may have time to get it back on the road.
GXL letters cleanly painted in concert with the stripes. Details to note stripes coming off the door handle.

as i implied, i doubt it's an actual GXL. the 4-lug hubs and phone dials are not what they came with. in it's day, the only model higher than the GXL (in terms of equipment and features) was the T2. more than likely, the previous owner replaced the fender(s), for whatever reason, and they were from a GXL. the rear wiper is a bit confusing, but i believe the brochure, so my guess is the p/o added that at some point as well.
that said, just so you (we) don't derail this thread, it may be worth it to start a thread and post photos of the car inside and out, and then we should be able to tell you what you have.
That blue s4 base/se was wrecked in the front and someone put hood, fenders frim a white gxl on it and a rattle can painted bumper from a S5 along with S5 bumper trim on it.
Then "cleverly" disguised the mismatch body panels as a custom paint scheme by adding the white stripes to the doors.
