Pics of Blue SA's
I'm looking for pics of any blue SA's. Of particular interest is the elusive original '79 Daytona Blue, Mazda color code A9. Color chart for reference:

Any pics would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the pics guys! Here's one I found that I really like, owned by foozberries here on the forum. I was wondering if it was the original Daytona Blue, but from digging through his threads, I see BMW Estoril Blue Metallic mentioned. It does appear close to the factory Daytona Blue.

aws140,
Nice pics, but I do prefer the darker blue. I wonder how many Daytona Blue were sold in North America? Doc's car is the only one I've seen on this forum.

Here's another couple nice ones, neither of which are the Daytona blue. First one is not SA either, but too sweet to leave out of this thread!

Hey Ray,
Nah...the Clodhoppers did melt a little bit in transit and came out as one "Giant Clodhopper"....which I promptly ate
My paint is a "GM Holden Barina" purple base coat with a "Ford Cobalt Blue" 2 pak on top.
The colour is essentially just the plain Cobalt Blue, but when it's in direct sunlight you can see a purple shine come through it...when I've had professionals take photo's of it, they have had a laugh at their camera's having a spaz at the colour...
Depends on the ambient light as to what it looks like...
