I'm thinking about blacking out everything on my FC but, before i do i wanted to see a few FCs that have also blacked out/tinted their stuff. If anyone has any pictures i'd like to see them.... oh and if any of you are photochop masters feel free to photoshop the tint/black out done to my car. Here are a few pictures... Also, please give me some input if you think it would look good.

I don't think it would look good, the car would be too offset. More rounded cars with flowing lights look good with black out things.

I think you should polish up what you have and get a nicer set of wheels. I feel like those s4 sawblades kill the look of the car! (I know it's an s4 under that nice paint

I think some wheels will change the look of the car and change your mind. You could at least get some S5 Turbo/GTUs wheels. Mustang wheels would probably look nice too(And be cheap).

 

yea black cars blacked out would look alot better because it all blends together..black wheels on the other hand would look great on a white car though..think she was alredy looking into rims in future along with rebuild by previous threads.

yea what he said, if you had a black car it might flow better, but hell I got a black car I dont even want to murder it haha, if i was going to do it I would stop at the side markers haha (JDM FTPS FTW!!)

i think it looks good since it blends in with the black trim

i think the side markers and turn signal look alright but idk about the taillights

 

Only thing on my car that's tinted are my windows, but I drive with them down anyway :/

I've considered doing this and I decided not to, I don't think it will look good unless you get black wheels. On S4s it looks great because it matches the moldings. Look at errickseven(sp?)'s car, its sick.

i used vht nightshades cost me about 12 bucks for one can, it sucked prepping and painting but im happy with the results

 

I wouldn't do it thats for sure. That's just me though.

 

yeah after looking at eriksevens thread, i've decided that imma black mine out. Thanks for all the input everyone. I should have my rims this weekend and ill do the blackout at the same time.

 

I like everything blacked out except the tails. Only reason for this is that the FC tails cover a big area and it's a bit too much contrast. But I think with them just lightly smoked to get them a little bit darker without blacking them out would look great. Just my $.02CAN

 

I spray painted mine red and it made them look darker a bit.

paint your wheels black first. eriksseven or something like that was selling a white fc recently that was blacked out...check this threads for pics.

 

hate to say it, but you were on a pretty good road with modifying your car, but now with blacking out lights and ****, you just took a u turn back to 1996
