anywho, i love your car. just plain badass, lovin the enkei RPF-1's

peace
Thanks! The exterior isn't in the best condition since its been a dedicated track car for 3 years now. Could use some new paint and a few hours into small details.

Sorry, don't know your friend JP. There are quite a few white GP kitted FCs. I personally know of at least 5 in California alone.

Did you even fix your camber after you dropped your car?

Did you contemplate buying 4 identical rims and then change your mind?

what the **** are you talking about?

It works fine if you dont half *** it. Use a heat gun, go slowly, and it will work great.

And quit telling everyone to lower their car, what the hell do you care? Besides, its a DRAG CAR, so it squats like hell. Soft suspention gives more grip, im sure that car tucks some tire at least when it launches, so youre making yourself sound stupid. Every post you write makes you sound like an angry 17 year old. Im not really one to talk because Like 80% of my posts are argueing in the wheel fitment thread, but jesus, what are you trying to prove?

SOoo true...Everyone.

Kid is in Cali...so Im sure he got sucked into the drifto slideways scene before he could even reach the pedals.

So you went down the Takumi Project and got some wheels you afford..so what? Now you have a set up that out does everyone elses?

Everyone knows their car reflects them..so if I drove a rusted shitbox. I'd probably keep my mouth shut.

You haven't even been on the forum but a minute, so you have noooo room to talk.

Here is a picture for you...nicely fitting 26x11.5 SLICKS

im not trying to \change anybodys mind, just trying to open them to new concepts, they are the ones saying, "so and so car is ugly, too low, blah blah"

i guess i just prefer the look where its clearing JUST ENOUGH as not to interfer with the fender, instead of having HUGE CLEARNCE, most commonly associated with the batt rolling i have seen.

jsut different strokes for diff folks

dont misunderstand, im all about having wheels that fit so wickedly the lettering on the side of the tire gets rubbed off, And i drift my car alot. But that doesnt work on a drag car, so i dont go around telling drag guys what to do haha.

Plus, your car nees to not look like trash before you call people out for having ugly cars.

Us "drift kids" dont need to act like ******** in every thread we post in. Pick you battles mate.

this video includes both the hammer the **** out of it method, and the roll it with a pipe/bat method

it took me about 15 minutes to roll all four corners. hammer method on the front fenders, pipe on the rear. might be more complex for a flared pull
You must be joking about that video

Im curious, are you including the cutting down of the street sign post for the pipe and the spray bomb touchups in the 15 min it took to do yours ?

Again, sometimes you need to shut up and listen to your elders before you talk.

My car too high? Wheels too small? Oh, I'm sorry I don't fit into the sunken battleship, 22" dubs, and mismatching wheel scene. But I don't go around calling another person's car a POS unless I have good reason to.

What are the BIG differences between our cars?

You daily drive your car. I don't know how comfortable it is, what kind of gas mileage you have, or maybe its your own mode of transportation.

I DON'T daily drive my car. I could, but I won't. The bumpy roads would flop my insides out, it would cost me $55 a day in gas because of the 9mpg + premix I get, and a cop would hear my coming from a mile away. My car has been a track car for 3 years.

I don't need the sunken battleship look. I'd rather have lighter wheels than larger heavier ones. I don't want my tires to scrape every time I have to go into a hard corner.

Thats the problem with the new kids growing up into this drift craze. Most of them all want the "oooooohhhh" and "aaaaaahhhhhh" but forget the larger portion of it all: performance and common sense.

well i guess there you go, everyone and thier own taste's

i never called anyones car ugly, or POS

maybe i have pushed a little hard, but i think alot of theese cars would look fuckign awesome, with just some bigger wheels and a closer fitting fender. I offerd sugestions, that many have taken offence to, wich was not my intentions.

Personally i like a low car, with a nice fitting wheel, cause it not something that everyone can just throw together, so it does get looks, and such, just cause not everyone is used to extreemly close tolerances between, wheel/tire, and fender.

and im not new to the drift scene.

ps, try and make it to the bay area meet, hopefuly somehow you can bring your fc

Bay Area meet? how long have you been with RX7s and BA meets? I considered going to the BA meet in January but its too much of a hassle to trailer my car to a meet that probably won't be very good or have many people show. I use to organize the RX7 BBQs a looooooooooooooong time ago for the De Anza AutoX comps and plenty others in conjunction with zilvia.net.

If you've been around a certain area long enough, then you'll learn that a lot of the VERY knowledgeable and highly skilled individuals don't go to meets or gatherings often. Usually its boring, over-rated, and filled with a younger inexperienced crowd. We're busy at home or at work, building those engines and cars that kids can only dream of.
