Another jspec swap [pics]

well, i decided to share what my friend and i are working on this time.
his black N/A 91 convertible 10:30 this morning august 19

now jspec turbo convertible 9:30 august 19


question anyone kno wat size turbo it is wastegate and manifold both say greddy and exhaust side of turbo has mitsubishi symbol







another goodie the motor came with

looks like a fun project, all greddy turbos where mitsu's. maybe a td06 (i dont know im not really a turbo guy)

i kno greddy uses mitsubishi turbos. im thinking mayb its a greddy TD06 25G

nice setup, did you order that motor by any chance from osaka motors ? they had one just like it.

And oddly enough the hotside seems to be on the small side. So you will get awesome spool for sure.

Look at the back of the exhaust side it should say a 8cm to 16 cm sizing ,

well my friend went to canada to pick it out forgot wat place exactly got it motor cheap to we just hope seal stuck or carbon locked

is that a t4 to t3 adapter between turbo and manifold? or just a spacer?
measure the wheel!

maybe a td06 turbo?

looks like a t3-t4 adapter on the turbo.

hot damn, you got lucky on that clutch! its worth as much as the motor.

yea but when jspecs have a big turbo and that clutch that means they were diven harder than most.

If it came from OSAKAJDM i bet it is blown.... I would go ahead and tel your buddy to rebuild it...

has 80 rear 30 front wen tested at canada

wen i did my swap it had comression in rear almost non in front also and its runing fine. this motor just looks like massive carbon build up from wat i see threw the exhaust port

2 of the thress I bought from them were blown from the get.. One had NO apex seals On the back rotor.. they were simply missing..... and the housing was trashed so it wasn't even buildable.

They don't check compression at all..
