91 vert - 76k - $2,900 - Too clean for the price?

I found a local 91 vert that pics show is incredibly clean, inside and out. 76k on the car, price seems almost too low, $2,995.

It's by a dealer, and the dealer clearly doesn't know what he is selling, as he advertises:
Whether hauling a heavy load or accelerating up to highway speeds, the 4 cyl engine is more than up to the task. The 4 cyl engine gets great gas mileage and performs well on the highway.
Humorous

Anyone more knowledgeable spot anything of concern? Only thing I see off hand is that the rear bumper on the driver's side seems to be coming loose?

Hmm, yes, it appears you are right. You can see the left front tire through the bumper edge. Looks like something to check on.

I sold my RX-8 back in February, and I've been missing a rotary in my life My Mazdaspeed Miata is fun, but.... yeah, I miss a rotary.

Yeah, looked closer, both front fenders are rusting out. Maybe the price is more in-line. I'm going to guess that the body is going to be less ideal than even shown in the pics when seen in person then.

Hmm....

Oh bull, the dealer knows exactly what he's selling...a 22 y.o. car with probable rust issues and a horribly unreliable rotary engine (public perception, not necessarily mine) that gets awful gas mileage.
It's priced to get it off the lot as quickly as possible.

How long do you think it'd last on our enthusiast forum and what price do you think it'd get?

That's a great price even if the car was in fair condition. That's a good find! Love my vert!

I don't really know the answer to that question. I am on 7club rather infrequently, most of my time is spent on 8club (I'm a moderator there).

But that's why I 'm asking the people that know.

I do expect that the dealer knows he isn't selling a stellar car. I was more referring to not knowing anything about the model, as is typical for most dealers selling rotaries.

They have not responded to me today, which is interesting. So it may be a moot point.
