WA 88' NA SE Daily&Drift Build. :D

Ive been wanting to make my own build thread for so long...and now I finally can haha.

So on April, 12th I set out to the Tacoma uHaul and picked up a trailer for $60.
This would be the beginning of a long awaited dream. Haha. I've been wanting an
FC since I was 10 and now 8yrs later, i'd get to have it. After picking up the uHaul,
Me and my fiance' headed about an hour away from home to the sorta country side
of Washington to pick up a 1988 N/A RX-7.

No major rust. Motor dead. (don't care) All Stock. Clean minus the mold... I personally think i ripped him off. but with my budget.
I had no choice. lol

Please dont mind the redneck camo on the sides....

The Dreaded Engine Bay...The guy took the water pump off along with a few
other things and let the car sit for 3 years...

Since this was the first day...i was pretty overwhelmed with what i wanted to do.
I kept staring at the car with so many ideas of how i wanted it to turn out. But as
my funds were now out till payday my fiance and I were left with cleaning and
REMOVING THAT NASTY CRAP on the side of my car.

Most of the day was spent scrubbing the dash, removing the center console,
shift cover, vent covers, dash buttons, ect. I didnt get a picture of the interior
then but here's some pics of the stuff we took inside and finished cleaning before
bed.

THATS WHAT THE DASH AND EVERYTHING ELSE WAS COVERED IN...FACKIN DISGUSTING.

My shift cover...was well. It was a biohazard haha. So i made my own. Idc if its tacky.
I always liked the look

After that night the next couple days were spent pulling the seats out,
shampooing them and the carpet and pulling the camo off. We're really trying
to get that mildew smell out of the car..ha. We even found some old purple sticky kush
under the seats hahaha!.

The seat on the right is what the seat on the left used to look like.

N i c e a n d C l e a n!!

Theres more, but for now. I'll head off to bed. More to come tomorro. : D
