'88 gtu
I recently got into drifting and am using an '83 cressida as a "drift only" car so i decided to pick up a daily/weekend drifter while i finish the swap on my cressy.
i'm new to rotary engines so ive been reading up on them like a mad man, we'll see how it goes. any tips or things i should look out for?
not much to show unfortunately as i've only had it about a week or so.
Here is how she was when i picked her up.

then slapped on some rota track r's

Wasn't really feeling them so i picked up some 92s in not too great of shape, so i did a quick spray job. they came out ok but could've been better.

and this is how she sits for now.

and a picture for comedic relief.
pushing the rx7 into the garage, my brother in the lame shorts lol.

I mean... I wanna have more fun than in my lasts RX-7s.
Nice GTU by the way, are you planning to modify it engine wise? Swapping a TII engine is relatively easy.
I am indeed planning to swap the turbo engine in, when i bought the car it was advertised as having a new used engine with less miles, but when i looked over all the receipts and paperwork i didnt find any paperwork showing that so i'm not sure if its the original or another, but it runs awesome and has zero leaks. once it blows ill be going with the turbo.
