well today after frying a set of injectors, having leaky injectors, and putting in a new starter i got it started. been working on the swap for about the last week. its a s4 jdm motor, stock turbo with ported wg, 550/680 injectors, greddy E-01 boost controller, dp and hks exhaust ect...
just need to adjust the timing, tps and bac in the morning.

i am quite pleased, it has awesome compression and it was out of an auto so i know it wasnt beat on. it is overheating a little right now, nothing major but i have flush the cooling system about 4 times and it still looks like it is draining out choc milk so i am pretty sure that is why it is running hot. but it was a full long block with turbo and all and i would say the condition of all the parts and motor was about 9 out of 10. i got it from robert at rotaryshack.

Great looking car. I forgot who I got my JDM engine/tranny through, but I could have had my old engine rebuilt. I know there are some great builders out there...many on this site...try kevin http://rotaryresurrection.com/2ndgen/engine_prices.html he has great prices and I have heard nothing but great things. Plus you get a warrenty. I dont know how much shipping would be though. I think in all my engine/tranny was $1800 shipped. My engine runs great but it might just be a fluke. Also, if your engine is running hot eff, you may want to figure something else out besides a flush...maybe t-stat, your fan shroud, fan, etc. Any you shouldnt have to adjust your timing....what are you running your injectors with?
