86 FC track project.. moving along.

I've had the car for a couple months now, and have just been doing some maintenence and suspension/chassis upgrades to get the car fully sorted out before I put an LS1/T56 and a roll bar in it later this year.

It is an 86 NA car with a streetport, full exhaust and intake. It is on coilovers, with all solid suspension bushings.

No, I have BC coilovers on the car. Those are the plates that came with the coilovers.

I want your car. How good are you at welding? want to trade cars? Mine looks just like yours but needs some [alot] of rust repair. But seriously, good luck with your build-up.

What's up with the hood pins? Broken hood latch?

Will the LS1 fit under that strut bar? If not, you should give it to me. Cool buildup. Keep us posted with the progress.

That is what it looks like. I bought the car with the pins, and no latch.

I'm not sure the LS1 will fit under the strut bar, we will see. I bought the car with that on it too, so I may modifiy it or trade it for one that will clear.

95 Cobra R wheels 17X9 +24. 235/40/17 in front and 245/45/17 in the back. They fit great and with a little camber and a simple fender roll they don't rub at all in front.

I may go to 235/40s in the back so I can rotate the tires. The car looks good with the 245/45s though.
