30k 10AE
As a 10AE owner, I love seeing this, makes me feel that one day my car will be a rare sought after car even though in reality it is just a T2 with white wheels, and some special badging.
I recently looked at an 87 t2 with 9600 original miles, one owner and he was asking 15000. I was really tempted to pick it up, but found my 10AE instead.
Good luck to the seller, if I had 30000, I would be interested in it!

i think that the car is worth a good deal of money. i also think that if a serious buyer were to come with cash in hand, some negotiating could be done. i wouldn't expect any more than 5K off of the price. this is a true collector's car. the car is a survivor of 22 years and the mileage is nearly equal than that of the 2010 Toyota Sienna i bought for my wife. the car is amazing and deserves to go to an RX-7 collector. the reason i feel that this car is worth more than 20K is because there probably isn't another 10AE out ther with that low of mileage and in that nice of condition. never again will you be able to buy a nearly new 10AE..this is about as close as it gets and if i had the cash and i felt my 10AE needed another 10AE companion, i'd buy the car in a heartbeat.
I sort of agree with you on this, except that for as rare as this car is in this condition, I don't know how many buyers today appreciate the car enough to part with $25K or more. I do hope the seller finds the right buyer.
I agree with both mazdaverx713b and daviddeeps statements.
It may not be worth 30K now and I would negotiate a price.
It will be worth more than 30K at some time if it is kept in this condition.
A buyer will come along. I am in no hurry to sell it and I may try to win more awards with it whenever I can.

I wonder if you wouldn't do better consigning this car to a high profile collector auction. Or what about running ads in a collector car publication like "Hemmings Motor News?" I'd love to see the FC start to be recognized as a significant collector car of the 1980s. I'm sure that day is not far off at all.
I'm sure I'll have it for awhile, so it's here if you ever want to make an offer. I can't see it not being at a high value in the future. It's a work of art. Not too much compares to its beauty. The original paint is flawless. Not one rock chip or ding. Actually the whole car is flawless. except for the cassette player doesn't work or the one tape I tried was bad.
May just need a belt replacement; after all these years they've probably hardened and/or broken. The biggest risk would be cracking the radio bezel taking apart the dash to get it out. Probably best to just let it be.

Honestly... if I had the money I would buy it. But then I would regrettably only park it somewhere. What a shame to have such a nice car that has been well preserved, but not have the oppurtunity to enjoy driving it with fear of destroying it's untouched beauty.

Original msrp for our cars was over 18,000 in the late 80's and early 90s. You are pretty much buying a new car, so I can see the high price, not to mention the collectors value.
I agree that there probably won't be a buyer soon and the price might not completely reflect the market, but I think it will be worth this much soon. Most who would shell out this much cash would purchase as an investment anyways.
Ever had some good photos taken of the car? I'm located in Cinci and willing to lend my services.
