2nd gen touge drivers
I have a video. its really short and im still getting used to my fc. and its a convertible. and on top of that it looks like im going slow. but it is a 15 mph turn. by my house there is a road with i think 3 constant 15mph turns. and on top of that. one of my tires were low. i found out when i stopped. lol but here it is i guess.

Yeah. definately. but not until i get my roll bar. lol i dont want to kill myself. something the video doesnt show is that there are some sharp rocks behind the camera guy. lol so its a little sketchy
Zer0Suvivers, doesnt look like the corner was entered right, also didn't appear "smooth"
I've lost control twice, not during mountain runs though I learned what the car feels like when it looses grip, the general rule of thumb for me is go 2-3x higher then the posted speed limit,

Start with AutoX, it really is the best way to figure out how to control your car. On mountain runs, ur never at 100%, just incase somethin happens, but in AutoX, you push your car 100%, 100% of the time.
texas touge
quick question...anybody in texas that does touge???? i live in nor cal so i got nothing but touge close by and im thinking of going back out to texas and bunking at my sisters house for a year or two again to get away and save money and build my car but i want to make sure i can touge still in the austin area...
I wish, its been winter, and my cars being rebuilt, I'll definitely have more from this summer. One of our first plans is to go back to Mt. Evans (North Americas Highest Auto Road) Its such a beautiful drive. I'll make sure we take more pics than last time!
i used to hit it every week but winter hits and it gets treacherous. thats just the first or last corner of the touge. it gets intense further up. but yeah. never get bugged by cops. im sure they have to know that something is going on by now though, but its been our spot for a few years.

It's 3:00am on a saturday morning and i do not have tags on my car........ If i scratch, i'll be in jail wishing i had just stayed home.
******* bullshit i wish someone would buy my stereo system already instead of "thinking about it" or "getting back to me about it". Lowballers......

Kansas is one flat place. only place i can play touge racer at is Lake Shawnee here. its hilly, and snakes alot, but its generally flat. the part i circled tho, starts low, goes high at the first few corners and levels off at lake drive, then goes down hill for a straight, ending with the left, then right, and finish at Croco with a little 30 - whatever i feel like =D [Barely to none drive on this road when i do this and if they do, i can see the headlights way beforehand so i know when to have fun or be cautious]
yea its lame. the otherside of the lake is curvy and would be fun to do 'cept thats where the coppers are..
i'm more of waiting to change the suspension on my car and do a little more motor work then i'll start taking my car to the local track [Heartland Park topeka] for their roadcourse =D
that quote makes me feel so stupid. i was so tired when i typed that ****..

Yo, new guy here.
I live close to a certain popular "tooj", easy to guess from the pics and my location. 'Learned' to drive them as a hiker/climber, going to various places on back roads in all weather conditions, drifting a crummy Nissan Hardbody truck around, then a 240 coupe, then a hatch, and now an 88 NA FC, amongst other things.
Some local stuff...
I'll post some pics. Not sure how to structure this post, so sorry if I missed out on anything.

IM IN UR TOOJ, ATACKIN UR CORNURZ

Up north... a certain road that begins around 4,000ft and tops out around 10,000ft...

Best pic of the trip:

Sorry to post so many pics as my first 'real' post. Figure some of ya might dig a few of the better-composed shots.
