[PIC REVIEW] Mazdatrix VS. Corksport Rear Strut Braces

MAZDATRIX pros/cons.
2 piece design allows easier installation without cutting your car's sheet metal (you only need to poke 4 hole in the carpet/2 piece design makes it a bit weaker than the corksport.
The polished brace/bar has a bit higher mounting point sitting a couple inches taller that the corksport/ thus a bit more noticeable in the rear view mirror.
Durable paint finish/ its an ugly *** orange that goes with not even red FC interior!

Corksport pros/cons.
The brace is longer putting the ends closer to each strut/ In order to do this you need to cut large holes in the metal/carpet or remove the speaker and sheet metal surround.
The only thing visibly when completed (when installed with full interior) is the polished bar/ you don't have to worry about the blue showing (unless your running without speakers.

Note: I call the one Mazdatrix because I don't think it is actually a TC Sportline one as it looks like a cheaper knockoff. I do not know for sure though. Since it was bought for them I'll just use Mazdatrix for the name as that is where it was purchased from.

I won't put much more as most in explained in the pictures. Hope it does someone good. Also a small plug I'll be letting go of the corksport one for really cheap (for those interested )

I got the cheaper, cheaper version of the TC sportline lol

I like the way it is two piece. As for the orange, the carpet covers it

I'm almost certain the Mazdatrix bar is a TCS bar. I bought a TCS one from Banzai and it looks exactly like that Mazdatrix one.

The TCS design is a clone of a discontinued Mazdaspeed design. The TCS one is kinda hit or miss in my opinion. The color is horrendous, I had mine sandblasted and powder coated black. The bolts were too short to make mounting it over the carpet effective. Its supposed to use two holes in the shock tower metal, but mine was slightly off, requiring grinding of the sheet metal to get the holes to line up. The bar ended up being a quarter inch too short, so I had to widen the bolt holes a bit to make it work.

Banzai was helpful enough to take several units, measure them, and provide me the measurements to make sure I didn't receive a faulty product. Sadly, I had not. I prefer the look and design of the TCS one, but I'm thinking the Corksport design would fit better.
