MO Windshield 89 S5

I am ready for a windshield from Safelite before i paint the car, S5 second gen. Question,is the plastic trim on the side of the windshield still in stock at Mazda or will safelite have aftermarket trim pieces? Mine are weather worn and chipped. Anybody go through this lately and know the skinny? Thanks

The trim will set you back more than the actual windshield..Been there.

Holy crap! well at least i can still get it. Can he stab the windshield without the trim on hand,or do i need to have it there when he does the job? Thanks again for the part #s!

windshield can be put in without the trims, although the top one is nice to have.
