MN Get another one? Or just go with it?

So I'm still waiting for my engine to come back from the builder. Its been a long time now, Im just so frustrated I actually bought an FB so I could brap brap. But its not the same as a Turbo FC so I would like additional input from you all.

What I'm thinking is either tell the builder that I'm out, they can or someone else buy the shortblock from me and then I can take out a little loan for another FC I want, put any of my good bits I have on it, being that I have a rebuilt turbo, okay interior, Adaptronic ECU(though may sell that depending on what I pick up). And sell whatever else I have like the shell and anything I dont use on the new FC.

Option B would be just wait it out, I don't know how long it'll be, but with that being said I also dont know how much $ it will be. Worth the headache to put the motor back in? I may still sell it as I'm weary of the front plate cracking at the oil feed line again. And this year long headache... But at least I'd have my car back.

Point being is, what would be financially better? I could see getting 1k for the ECU a few hundred for the motor itself and maybe 1500 to 3k for the shell, trans and diff ect.... How much does a part out yield? I had bought it for $2500 literally 6 years ago then had somehow spent 5k on a rebuild literally 5 years ago. And now I don't know how much on replacing a front iron. I know i'm losing either way, but I would like to lose less. Thoughts?

It was like 6 months. Anyway, new update here....

I have an FD motor that has a full Atkins rebuild kit and a trans, and a new clutch that I got for stupid cheap. I wanted to put it in my car, however. It's completely apart, I've only dismantled 1 13b. However I am kinda up the task, but am not sure what's the best rebuild tutorial...would use the S4 Turbo, if that would work. And I have an adaptronic ECU to connect to the FD stuff. Does anyone have an idea of a game plan or should I just still sell everything and buy another?
