Sounds like the o2 sensor (a picture would be good), if it is the o2 sensor them it's importance depends on if you are running a standalone ecu or stock. If you are running the stock ecu and do not have the sensor plugged in, I imagine your air to fuel mixtures will be off. If you are running a standalone ecu the sensor is generally done away with seeing as the standalone will control the fuel.

Aww ok thanks mate umm I think it's standard as it's under a plate in front of passengers feet , and it didn't have a plug on end of wires, I guess my adjusting top idle screw messed with fuel air mixture as it's not boosting now when I floor it , it like cuts out , and I did notice a little surginging in idle , **** ,, so pissed off at my self, it use to take a little to warm up but **** it went beautiful no turbo lag , so I thought I'd be smart and turn idle screw up to help cold start better BLOODY DICK scratching my head , I've put new fuel filter, new plugs , OFF TO MECHANIC before I routine something else 👍🏻 Thanks for ur time live & learn

No worries mate, the o2 sensor not being plugged in shouldn't cause what you are describing (you can run without it, even on a stock ecu, you just might chew a bit more gas). Just out of curiosity which screw did you adjust? are you sure it was the idle screw and not the TPS screw?

Okay, that's the correct adjustment screw for idle. I don't think adjusting that will cause your issue as all that adjustment screw is doing is setting the idle. Could be a vacuum leak, have you checked all of your vacuum lines around where you were adjusting things? (you could have knocked one off possibly..)

No obvious vacuums leaks hoses are all in great condition, started great this morning , idles well , I mean it don't stall, when u ease foot on throttle it gets to 2000 rpm then retards itself , I did noticed a little bit of a gas smell out exhaust no gas smell under bonnet , IS IT RUNNING RICH? Naaa I have no idea , tomorrow I will buy brake cleaner and check leaks efficiently but it was going great. JESUS these cars suck to complicated , Bloody mechanics 1.5 hr drive lol SMH

Were you able to get a picture of the item sticking out of the exhaust manifold? I agree with the above that it sounds like you're talking about the oxygen sensor but we could verify.

Yip the 7's can definitely give you grief at times, but you will certainly learn a lot about your car because of the grief it causes.

ONCE I check a vacuumed leak with brake cleaner if I can't find a leak I'll just take it to a mechanic it's beyond my total lack of mechanical knowledge it can't be much , would trying to start it without intercooler MESS with TPS settings????? or disconnecting battery ????
