What differentials will fit into an 1986 na
Hi all, badly need an lsd for my 86 na and someone was going to sell me a s5 diff. Will the s5 fit into an s4? Or does anyone know of someone should could sell me an lsd that will fit my car?

all the n/a differentials are interchangeable.

You do not want an S5 N/A viscous diff, it is not LSD unless it is from a GTUs with the 4.30 gear. S4 is a clutch style LSD unit, all the S4 GXL manual trans came with 4.10 LSD.

mines a gx. I just need an lsd. Or atleast the gears and all the stuff in the inside

All N/A FC 3rd members will bolt in, but they are not all LSD (Limited Slip Differential), specifically not the S5

What is wrong with yours?

some idiot welded it and and the welds snapped and now it's not even an open. And I just really need either the internals or the whole damn thing to get this up and running again. I need the diff

post a wtb in the your local section, i'm sure someone has one. you don't see listings as much anymore but there are still a lot of hoarders with tons of parts littering their garages.
