Just got a 91 vert and am wondering if there is any way to lock the trunk so it can't be opened using the latch release. Would like to be able to leave things in the trunk with the top down without worrying about everything being stolen.

I moved my latch into the bins to at least slow down a thief.

 

If all you want is to prevent someone from using the latch, turn the key to the left and this will prevent the latch release from unlocking the trunk.
