Using NA housings on a turbo

What's the negative side of using na housings on a t2 engine? (I got the baffle part) I see the leading is closer to the trailing on a NA making it fire sooner in the rotation than a t2. Would this cause vibrations, raw gas or anything bad? Or is it just adjusting the timing on the ECU and everything is good? S5 t2 haltech ps2000 thanks

ignition timing and the physical location of the spark plug are related, but two separate things.

you can't mix and match these, you either need to run both S4 housings or neither

Yeah I think what you have in your picture is n/a housings from one series and turbo housings from another. As long as both n/a housing are from the same series it could be done, but it'll take some work. As you already know you need to remove the baffle/ inserts but also the coolant passage for the turbo isn't open on the n/a housings. The casting is there IIRC so you may be able to drill it out and open it up.

you're missing what I'm asking the plug hole is still in a different spot on a t2 and na housing. The housings in the picture I posted the left is t2 the right is a NA. the first pic is a s5 t2 and s4 na, holes are still different. I'm not asking how to tell the difference between Na and T2 housings. Mazda move the plug for a reason I'm asking the downside of using 2 NA housings with everything else t2
