Swapping NA 13b to Turbo II 13b
As of right now I'm running a stock 1988 NA 13b with 137000 miles on it and we are having problems with burning excessive amounts of oil over 4k rpm. I'm 90% sure its bad seals because before we bought her she was sitting for 15 years. I want to swap to the 89 turbo II engine and trans. What would the cost estimate be for swapping over, what would i need extra to do the swap, and how difficult is it to do the swap?

Since your '88 is a Series 4 and the '89 is a Series 5 that complicates things. Swapping within series is pretty straight forward but there are wiring changes in the dash between series that complicate things when swapping between series. If I understand correctly. Maybe someone else more familiar will chime in. I'd say $5k should get you started with the current cost of JSPEC engines and the likelihood any one you buy will probably need rebuilt because of sitting in storage all these years you'll be lucky if it doesn't cost even more than that. Since the most asked question is about turbo swaps searching should yield a wealth of information. Also check Aaron Cake's website https://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/
